KeepSuite← Back to the apps

HAIDAR CONSULTING, LLC · UPDATED 21 OCTOBER 2026

Privacy, in plain language.

Local editing by default. Online installation verification. Optional AI that you control.

Scope

This notice describes KeepSuite’s website and the Folio, Ledger and Stage desktop apps, operated by Haidar Consulting, LLC. It applies to personal and business use. Public sales and production activation are still being prepared; sections about purchases and customer activation describe the planned release workflow.

Local editing and your files

The apps keep separate libraries on your Windows computer. Ordinary editing and saving do not upload your documents to KeepSuite or require a cloud account. There is no automatic KeepSuite cloud backup. Files you export, email, upload or place in a synced folder are handled by the destinations you choose. Uninstalling the current apps retains the local library; manage or remove local files yourself and keep backups you control.

Activation information

Customer installation sends the purchase code, a hashed Windows device identifier and an optional computer label to the activation service. The service uses these to verify the purchase, record occupied computer slots and prevent repeated installations from resetting the allowance. It stores purchase-code hashes and license/device records. A hashed device identifier is not a guarantee of anonymity. Activation does not require document contents, AI prompts or API keys. A signed receipt stays on the computer and is checked locally during ordinary startup. Releasing a slot sends the receipt to the service.

Optional local and external AI

When you request AI help, prompts and the document context included with the request go to the provider selected in the app. A local Ollama endpoint processes them through the configured local service; a remote endpoint or cloud model sends them outside your computer. A provider may retain or use submitted content under its own policies. Check those policies and your employer’s rules before sending confidential information. AI is optional; ordinary editing can be used without it.

API keys

API keys entered in the apps are stored in local app settings using Windows-protected encryption. The key is used to authenticate requests to your chosen provider. The apps do not save a new key if protected encryption is unavailable. Do not include keys in support messages, exported screenshots or shared backups. A person with access to your Windows account may still be able to access local app data.

Direct purchases through Stripe

Direct checkout for Haidar Consulting, LLC is being prepared alongside the separate Gumroad listing. When enabled, Stripe will process payment information under its own privacy policy. The seller may receive order, payment-status and customer contact information needed to fulfill the purchase, provide download/code delivery, handle refunds or disputes and support the license. Card details are entered through the payment processor; they are not requested in the desktop apps or by support. Direct checkout is not active in this preview. See Stripe privacy.

Purchases through Gumroad

The planned checkout provider is Gumroad. Its checkout handles payment and customer information under its own privacy policy. The seller may receive order details such as customer email, product, payment status and refund or dispute information to fulfill purchases and support licenses. Do not enter full card numbers or banking credentials into KeepSuite or send them to support. The KeepSuite preview currently has no active payment form.

Website hosting and tracking

The prepared KeepSuite website uses Firebase Hosting. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser and request details, page paths and access times to deliver and secure the site. The KeepSuite site itself does not include advertising trackers, third-party analytics or a newsletter signup. Following a link to Gumroad, Google or another service is subject to that service’s separate privacy practices.

Support information

If you contact support@hcus.llc, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Support information is used to answer the request, resolve installation or license problems and keep an appropriate support record. Avoid sending passwords, API keys, full payment details or unnecessary private documents. A support request does not transfer ownership of your content.

Use, disclosure and retention

Purchase, activation and support records are used for fulfillment, device limits, recovery, security, refunds, disputes and required recordkeeping. Records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, including maintaining an active license or complying with applicable law. Service providers may process records for those purposes. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. We do not sell document contents or use activation to collect documents for advertising.

Your choices and requests

You can use the editors without AI, remove optional provider settings, control local documents and backups, and contact support@hcus.llc to request access, correction or deletion of information held by the seller. We may need to verify a request and retain records needed for an active license, fraud prevention, disputes or legal obligations. Removing license records may affect future reinstallation or recovery; support will explain relevant consequences. Gumroad and other independent providers handle requests about their own records.

Security and updates

Protect your Windows account, purchase code, API keys and backups. Local storage and encryption reduce some risks but do not guarantee security. This notice will be updated when information handling changes. Company contact: Haidar Consulting, LLC, United States, support@hcus.llc.
